Perfect Spring Conditions Deliver Bass Fishing Thrills in Michigan!
What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Jack and their crew joined us for an early morning spring trip on the river with partly cloudy skies and a chance of rain throughout the day. The conditions were perfect for getting out on the water and working some productive areas. We launched our Reel in the Fun: Explore Michigan's Best Fishing and Activities with On Target Fishing Guide Service trip ready to see what Michigan's waters had to offer.
With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on drift fishing, bottom bouncing, and cast and retrieve techniques to target the fish holding in the river structure. Jack and their crew connected with some solid warmouth and smallmouth bass throughout the day. Michigan's river systems are perfect for these techniques because the current and structure create ideal holding spots for these species. We wrapped up the trip with great smiles all around and some nice fish in the boat - couldn't have asked for a better day up north!
