Michigan Fall Run Bookings Open

Action-packed day from the get-go! Alex and I hit the water early morning for a fall session with On Target Fishing Guide Service. Weather started clear but became cloudy in the afternoon, which actually worked in our favor. We launched the heated jet boat ready for our Full-Day 8-Hour Trip with Guide Matt Brejcha – Heated Jet &amp; Drift Boat for Advanced Fishing.
Once the stage was set, we worked through drift fishing, jet boat trolling, and bottom bouncing techniques throughout the day. Alex landed some solid Kings using these methods. The river conditions were perfect for switching between techniques - when one approach slowed down, we'd fire up the jet boat and cover new water. Nothing but fantastic action when we found the right spots! We wrapped up the trip with great smiles and tight lines all around.
The combination of heated jet boat and drift boat capabilities really made the difference on this November run. Being able to troll upstream sections then drift back down gave us maximum coverage. Bottom bouncing in the deeper holes produced consistent results when the Salmon were holding tight to structure.
